Hull Beddict

Eldest of the three Beddict brothers, Hull stands almost as tall as a Tiste Edur, his long pale hair braided, his skin weathered by years in the open and his bleached grey eyes fixed somewhere other than the conversation in front of him. Three bar tattoos of the Tarthenal mark him beneath the left shoulder, and he goes clothed in the white furs of the north wolf. He was a favourite of King Ezgara Diskanar once, named Sentinel and sent to learn the ways of the tribes along Lether's northern frontier; what he learned turned him against the errand, and among Letherii his name has been a word for traitor ever since. He comes down out of the northern mountains attached to Buruk the Pale's trading caravan, bound for the Great Meeting of the Tiste Edur, telling the Acquitor Seren Pedac only that he means to be the sword and not the hand that wields it, and that she would do well not to stand in his way.
