Gothos
A Jaghut scholar whose book Gothos' Folly is quoted at the head of chapters.
Gothos is a Jaghut scholar and the author of a book called Gothos' Folly, and he is credited with a second work, A Life in Mists.
Like others of his kind he stands over seven feet, gaunt, with greenish skin, long grey hair tied back, tusks curling from his lower jaw on either side of a wide thin mouth, and eyes the colour of dirty ice with vertical pupils set under a heavy brow ridge. He favours hooded woollen robes and a broad brimmed black felt hat, and owns a great sword with a cross hilt as long as a child's arm. Those who quote him credit him with seeing every possibility at once and taking comfort from none of them.
