The First Throne is the seat on which the Emperor received the kneeling T'lan Imass, and Silverfox tells how Logros and his clans took up its defence when the other armies left to hunt the last Jaghut.
Tool tells Adjunct Lorn that he, like every T'lan Imass, bowed down to the Emperor while he occupied it, with Dancer at his side. Asked where it lies, Tool answers that the Logros T'lan Imass joined their minds after what he calls the Emperor's death, forming a binding that keeps the answer from every Logros and Kron T'lan Imass.
