The form is not fixed, and a range of objects can apparently be adapted to the purpose. One kept among the grave goods of a barrow in the Gadrobi Hills takes the shape of an acorn. A T'lan Imass describes such a thing as a self contained Omtose Phellack warren, which is to say a piece of Jaghut ice sorcery sealed inside a small object, and warns that the Jaghut whose power it holds can sense its absence and hunt it unerringly.
