Crokus took him for a tall, thin man with a narrow hatchet face, wearing a longcoat of gray and crimson. He is wry and sarcastic and gives no sign of taking any situation seriously. In Darujhistan, on the night of the Gedderone Fête, he steps out beside Crokus to make plain that the thief has been under Guard protection all along, naming himself and Corporal Blues and explaining that a third Guardsman, Cowl, is working the rooftops. He passes on the compliments of Prince K'azz D'Avore and of Caladan Brood, remarks that Baruk is a powerful mage, and advises Crokus to be rid of Oponn's Coin before the luck turns.
