The Eleint are dragons, a name hailed in a raven's laughing cry and in a Tyrant's warning that he will drive them to the ground.
Crone screams the word eleint at Silanah, a great red dragon flying with four black ones toward an opened Jaghut tomb. Raest, the Jaghut Tyrant, uses the same word for the dragons wheeling above him, names Silanah elder-born and true-blooded apart from the four Soletaken she leads, and admits he cannot enslave her, though he vows to tear out their hearts. At a second meeting he offers Silanah her life if she flees.
