Edgewalker

Edgewalker is an Elder God and one of the oldest inhabitants of the realm of Shadow, so desiccated that he is often taken for a T'lan Imass. His origins are unknown. He is bound in service to Shadow as tightly as Jhedel is, and has been bound since a time when Malaz was not yet an island but part of the mainland. What is left of him is tatters of rotted sinew and strips of skin lying motionless over the bone of temple, cheek, and jaw, his eyes withered dark, his right leg twisted. He wears a verdigrised bronze helm, the ruin of thick cloth over leather and scale armour, and rotted moccasins, and carries a rust-bitten sword across his back. He speaks archaic Talian in a broken, rasping voice, and Jhenna calls him Tracer of Edges. His prescience strikes others as mind reading, though he puts it down to sheer age: every pattern is one he has watched play out before.
