Dujek Onearm

Dujek Onearm is the Malazan High Fist commanding the empire's campaign on the continent of Genabackis. His left arm ends below the shoulder, the loss behind his name, and his 2nd Army, called Onearm's Host, is a veteran formation devoted to him. A thin, plain, hatchet-faced man reckoned by some accounts far older than the fifty years he shows, Dujek carries a reputation as one of the empire's great commanders, a steadying presence soldiers trust in a campaign grown bitter. He is mired in the third year of the siege of Pale, where the floating fortress Moon's Spawn defies the empire, and his old friend Whiskeyjack serves among his soldiers.
