An old mountain fortress near Raraku, once a monastery of the Nameless Ones, reached only by a narrow doorway atop a high ledge, and a refuge for Malazans when the Whirlwind rose.
B'ridys is an old mountain fortress in Seven Cities, standing near Raraku to the south of G'danisban, and it served the cult of the Nameless Ones as a monastery long before it served anyone else. Its only apparent way in is a narrow doorway set atop a high ledge. When the Whirlwind rebellion swept the subcontinent, a few hundred Malazans abandoned their strongholds in Ehrlitan, G'danisban and Pan'potsun and fell back on it.
