Blistig is the Malazan commander of the Aren Guard, a burly-armed, bearded man who wears a torc on his left arm to mark his rank. His face is blunt and wide, the features solid and broad, the cheeks scarred. He chafes at the orders that come down to him from the High Fist. Out of his hearing, Himble Thrup calls him Lord Knock-knees, though whether anyone else uses the name is unclear.
