Blend

Blend is a soldier of the Bridgeburners' 7th Squad, slim, with soft dark eyes and a colouring and cast of feature that pass for local Daru or Genabarii in Darujhistan. She is not talkative by nature and misses very little, sees through illusory magic, and reads tracks well. Around her neck she wears a small stone bought from an old desert merchant in Pan'potsun, which she says makes it hard for people to focus on her, though the talent is in fact her own. It is where her name comes from, and it was Master Sergeant Braven Tooth who pinned that name on her. She puts the gift to work gathering intelligence and keeps her squadmates informed of what their commanders are thinking and saying. She wears a chain hauberk and carries a matched pair of Wickan longknives on a belt riding low at her hips. Picker is her lover, and she is loyal to Picker's command.
