Binadas Sengar
Third son of Tomad and Uruth Sengar, a Tiste Edur mage who keeps to the forests and mountains alone, ash-skinned and sand-eyed, and reckoned among the most formidable sorcerers of his people.
Third of the four Sengar sons, Binadas is a Tiste Edur mage and the most remote of his brothers, evasive and hard to predict where Fear, Trull and Rhulad are readable enough. He is tall, as they all are, his brown hair bound in finger-length braids, his skin the colour of ash and his eyes the colour of wet sand; his features are long and narrow but for a wide mouth, and he wears weathered buckskin with a single-edged longsword sheathed in leather-wrapped wood at his hip. He seldom stays in the village, preferring the forest and the mountains, and where other Edur warriors raid and count coup in company, he works alone. No one doubts his courage, and he has the trophies to settle the question. Among the Edur tribes he counts as one of the more formidable mages, and he was central to the Hiroth's success in the War of Unification.
