Banaschar

Banaschar is a priest of D'rek out of the Jakatakan temple on Malaz Island, and a practitioner of the warren of Mockra. His face is middle-aged and benign, his dark hair worn in an unadorned queue between his shoulders, and his features are so even that people who cross his path often cannot recall them minutes afterwards, an effect he is entirely capable of arranging. He dresses at first like a Malazan sailor, in faded waterproof leathers and a thin ragged linen shirt.
