Anibar
A clan people of the Olphara Peninsula on Seven Cities, also called the Wickerfolk, small and bog-dark, hung with moon-shaped copper, who give gifts by tradition and are easily cheated at trade.
Small and wiry, with skin the colour of bog water, the Anibar live in clans in the Shield lands of the Olphara Peninsula, north of the Jhag Odhan on Seven Cities, and are also called the Wickerfolk. Their men go in tanned hides and hide belts with strips of fur around the upper arms, chests and shoulders bare and stitched with ritual scarring, lower jaw and upper lip painted grey or ashed as though bearded, and their dark eyes are ringed with elongated circles of icy blue and grey. They hang themselves with cold-hammered copper shaped to the phases of the moon. Gift-giving is their ancient practice, mostly lost elsewhere on the continent; trade is a thing they were forced to learn and are easily cheated at. In the warm months they hunt bhederin and smoke the meat for winter, beat black grain loose from the reed beds into their canoes, and gather berries off the flat-rock. Their houses are round, framed in saplings and walled in hide.
