Ahlrada Ahn is a warrior of mixed Tiste Edur and Bluerose blood, the son of a Bluerose slave. His face is weathered and lined, his eyes dark, his skin darker than that of a pure-blooded Edur, and his long unbound hair carries streaks through it. Shadow wraiths swarm about him in a way they do about no other warrior. His mixed parentage leaves him a loner, always set a little apart from the rest, though Trull admires his strength and his determination. Before the war of unification he travelled widely among the Edur tribes and built blood-bound kinships with rivals of his own Hiroth, and he opposed the Warlock King's subjugation of those tribes.
