Wargs are a breed of large, cunning wolves of the Misty Mountains.
Wargs are a breed of wolf found chiefly in and about the Misty Mountains. They are larger than common wolves, cleverer and far more malicious, and they have a speech of their own. They keep company with the goblins of the mountains, plotting raids with them on the woodland settlements of Men to the east, and Orcs ride them as mounts.
