Trolls' purse

A trolls' purse is a piece of property that objects to being handled. Trolls keep their valuables in one, and the purse takes an interest in whose fingers are on it, so anyone reaching into a troll's pocket has the purse to get past first, and the purse is louder than the troll is careful. Three trolls named Tom, Bert and William came down out of the mountains into the Trollshaws of Eriador and cut themselves a lair in a cave under the Troll Ridge, well out of the sun, and William brought a purse of this kind down with him.
