Orodreth
Orodreth is a Noldorin prince of the First Age in The Silmarillion, son of Finarfin and Eärwen and brother of Finrod Felagund, Angrod, Aegnor and Galadriel.
Orodreth is a Noldorin Elf of the First Age, one of the princes of the House of Finarfin in The Silmarillion. Born in Tirion during the Years of the Trees, he is a son of Finarfin and of Eärwen of the Teleri, so that the blood of two kindreds runs in him; his brothers are Finrod Felagund, Angrod and Aegnor, and Galadriel is his sister. When the Noldor leave Aman he goes on with the host of his uncle Fingolfin rather than turning back with his father. In Beleriand he is given the keeping of Minas Tirith, the watch-tower on the isle of Tol Sirion that guards the northern pass, and afterwards he dwells in the hidden city of Nargothrond.
