Nár

Nár is a Dwarf of the Third Age whose lineage nobody wrote down, remembered instead for the company he kept. He is the friend and companion of Thrór, once King under the Mountain, through the years after Smaug drove Durin's Folk out of Erebor and left the House of Durin scattered and landless. When the old king would not settle into exile and set out north again, Nár went with him. Everything recorded about him belongs to that journey and to the errand he carried back afterwards to Thráin's people in Dunland.
