Manwendil
Elros Tar-Minyatur's third child and second son, Manwendil was born after the year 61 of the Second Age.
Third child and second son of Elros Tar-Minyatur, the first King of Númenor, Manwendil was born after the year 61 of the Second Age. He was younger than his sister Tindómiel and than Vardamir Nólimon, whose own reign was brief, and older than Atanalcar. Nothing else of his life is recorded except that he may have married and had children. In The Nature of Middle-earth Tolkien turns over the question of whether the children of Elros should have been Half-elven like the children of Elrond, with the same choice of mortality, and it is not clear that he settled it.
