Isengar Took was a hobbit of the Shire and one of Bilbo Baggins's many uncles. He was the youngest child of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb, and among his brothers and sisters were Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Donnamira and Mirabella. There is no record of his marrying or having children, but he is said to have gone to sea in his youth.
