The southernmost corner of Buckland, where the Withywindle flowed out of the Old Forest into the Brandywine and the High Hay came to an end.
Haysend, or Hays-end, lay at the southernmost point of Buckland, where the Withywindle came out of the Old Forest and joined the Brandywine. The name marks the end of the High Hay, the long hedge the Bucklanders raised along their eastern border.
