Frór
Frór was a Dwarf of Durin's line and the second son of Dáin I, who lived his whole short life in the Grey Mountains.
Frór was a Dwarf of the line of Durin, second of the three sons of Dáin I, and he spent his short life in the halls his people held under the Ered Mithrin, the Grey Mountains. His elder brother was Thrór and his younger brother Grór. Frór was killed alongside his father when a cold-drake broke in at the doors of the mountain palace, and the two of them were laid to rest soon after in the tombs of the mountain halls. The kingship passed to Thrór, and Durin's Folk resolved to abandon the Grey Mountains: part of them went with Thrór to the Lonely Mountain, while the greater number followed Grór east to the Iron Hills.
