Frodo Baggins was a Hobbit of the Shire in the late Third Age, the favourite cousin and adopted heir of Bilbo Baggins, into whose keeping came a ring of great consequence.
Frodo Baggins shares his birthday with Bilbo, the twenty-second of September. He comes to live at Bag End in his tweens, the careless years between childhood and a hobbit's coming of age at thirty-three, and from then on the two hold a joint birthday party there every year.
