Elladan and Elrohir are the twin sons of Elrond and Celebrían, born of the Half-elven line and raised in Rivendell. They are close friends of the Dúnedain of the North, riding often with the Rangers, and they keep a warmer fellowship with Men in general than most of the Elves of their father's house.
