Dorthonion, later Taur-nu-Fuin (also called Taur-na-Foen and Deldúwath), was a highland region of the First Age lying immediately to the north of Beleriand, and south of the plains of Ard-galen (later Anfauglith) bordering Morgoth's stronghold of Thangorodrim.
