Dor-en-Ernil
One of Gondor's southernmost coastal regions, the Land of the Prince, crossed by a road much used by the armies of Gondor and Dol Amroth.
Dor-en-Ernil, the Land of the Prince, was one of the southernmost coastal regions of Gondor. North of Harondor a road ran through it that the armies of Gondor and of Dol Amroth used often. The name probably recalls the Princes of Dol Amroth, who held the country between the Ringló and the Gilrain as subjects of the Kings of Gondor. Its borders were never set down by Tolkien himself, and Christopher Tolkien suspected that Belfalas and the Land of the Prince were one and the same country.
