Curufin

Curufin, called the Crafty, is the fifth of the seven sons of Fëanor and Nerdanel, born in Valinor during the Noontide. Of all the brothers he is his father's favourite and the one who most resembles him, in the face and in the skill of his hands alike. In Valinor he marries, and a son is born to them, Celebrimbor, who follows him into exile. Curufin is bound with his father and brothers by the oath sworn to recover the Silmarils, and that oath brings him east to Middle-earth in the First Age. There he and his elder brother Celegorm hold the land of Himlad, east of Maedhros's fortress on the hill of Himring and south of the Pass of Aglon.
