Turgon, King of Gondolin, wore the Crown of the Hidden Kingdom as his great king-helm.
The Crown of the Hidden Kingdom was the great king-helm of Turgon, King of Gondolin. An image of it, huge and set in diamonds, stood above the midmost pillar of the Gate of Steel, the last of the seven gates that guarded the way into the city, and the two leaves of that gate opened inward on either side of the pillar, so that everyone who came through passed beneath the crown.
