Celegorm

Celegorm, called the Fair, is the third son of Fëanor and Nerdanel, born in Valinor during the Noontide. Alone in a family of dark and red-haired kin he is fair-haired, and of his six brothers he is closest to Curufin. The Silmarillion sets him among the great hunters: he is a friend of the Vala Oromë, rides in his woods, and learns from him the tongues of birds and beasts, and it is from Oromë that he receives the great hound Huan. Bound with his father and brothers by the oath sworn in Valinor to recover the Silmarils, he comes east with the exiled Noldor and holds the land of Himlad together with Curufin.
