Brytta Léofa

Brytta was the eleventh King of the Mark, born in 2752 and come to the throne at forty-six when his father died. Rohan was still mending when he took it. The western border stayed unsettled, and a second trouble arrived from another direction entirely: war in the Misty Mountains drove great numbers of Orcs out of them, and many of those looked south to the White Mountains for somewhere to dig in. Brytta was open-handed and quick to help anyone in need, which earned him the name Léofa, a word of the Mark for one who is dear to his people, and he spent his reign in the saddle against Orcs.
