Bladorthin

A great king of an unnamed land, Bladorthin ruled somewhere in Middle-earth in the mid to late Third Age. He traded with the Dwarves of Erebor, and commissioned of them a set of spears, each with a thrice-forged head and a shaft lined with gold, for the arming of his hosts. The spears were made but never delivered, and Bladorthin never paid; they lay still in the hoard under the Lonely Mountain long after him. Nothing else is recorded of his realm, though the order itself hints that it lay within reach of Erebor's trade.
