Aldor
Aldor, third King of Rohan and son of Brego, reigned for seventy-five years and was called Aldor the Old.
Aldor was the third King of Rohan and the longest reigning of them all. Second son of King Brego, he came to the throne in the year 2570 of the Third Age at the age of twenty-six and held it for seventy-five years, which earned him the name Aldor the Old. Rohan prospered under him. The Wildmen of Dunland were driven back over the Gap of Rohan, the Rohirrim grew in number, the valleys of the land were settled, and Dunharrow was made ready as a refuge. He had four children, three daughters and a son, and he died in 2645 at the age of a hundred and one. His son Fréa took the throne after him.
