Vanir

Among the powers serving the Devil King in KonoSuba is Vanir, a masked Duke of Hell who holds one of the Generals' seats. His visible body is a gentleman's suit topped by a black and white mask with a star under each eyehole; the mask is the real Vanir, the body an accessory, and his true self stays safely in Hell. Styling himself the all-seeing demon, he reads minds and futures well enough to expose anyone's secrets, which is also how he feeds: shame, jealousy, and frustration are his diet, harvested through pranks and precisely aimed public embarrassment. He refuses to kill or harm humans, whom he regards as a food source too valuable to waste, and he talks in a booming theatrical register, referring to himself as Moi. His declared ambition is to build the world's largest dungeon, be slain by challengers before an empty treasure chest, and savor their disappointment as he passes on.
