Slime
Slimes in KonoSuba are nothing like the game fodder their name suggests: near-immune to most attacks, they smother and dissolve what they catch, with variants from edible gelatinous breeds to clothing-eating green ones.
Veterans of Japanese role-playing games arrive in KonoSuba's world with exactly the wrong instincts about slimes. Far from tutorial fodder, the slimes of the Parallel World are dangerous predators: blobs of viscous, self-directed fluid that shrug off most forms of attack while smothering, dissolving, and digesting nearly anything they engulf. Coloration tends to advertise a slime's habitat, element, or abilities, and specimens that outgrow a person are classed as mega slimes. The category sprawls into oddity at its edges, taking in the edible gelatinous slime, processed into a powder that reconstitutes in water; the green slime, magically bred to dissolve only clothing; and the blue slimes of cold and watery places, among others.
