Host

Not every demon in the KonoSuba franchise announces itself with fangs first. Host is a High-Ranked Demon bound in service to a Dark God, a towering figure of pitch-black, metallic-lustered skin with white pupil-less eyes, two pairs of horns, and giant bat wings built for speed. He is first encountered in the country around the Crimson Demon Village, and he makes a strange impression there: for all the intimidating bulk and pride, Host is well mannered, even friendly, patient with children in particular, and open-minded enough to attempt a Crimson Demon style self-introduction when the locals seem to expect one. What is not negotiable is the contract. Like all his kind he treats a compact as absolute, and duty to the master he worships overrides every gentler instinct.
