Dragon
Dragons are the most powerful monsters of the KonoSuba world, intelligent scaled giants whose parts are prized materials, whose elders take human form, and whose weak point is one inverted scale on the back.
Even in a world built like a role-playing game, KonoSuba reserves the top of its monster hierarchy for dragons. These huge scaled reptiles, horned, winged, and armored in valuable hide, combine immense strength with high resistance to blades and spells alike, and their fangs, scales, horns, and blood all fetch serious prices as materials. They are also intelligent: older dragons understand human speech, strike bargains, hoard treasure with a collector's appetite, and in some cases ride to war beside human dragon knights. Age determines standing, from lesser dragons under a century old through greater dragons to the elder dragons, who develop an ego of their own and can walk among people in human form. Their one celebrated weakness is a single inverted scale on the back.
