Tigris

Tigris is Coriolanus Snow's older cousin in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and the person who holds the Snow household together after the family's money is gone. She cooks for Coriolanus and their grandmother, mends and remakes what little they have, and takes tedious piecework from the designer Fabricia Whatnot to bring something in. In her youth she is described as no great beauty, thin, with a long, pointed nose and golden brown eyes. She is generous and unusually empathetic, forever telling Coriolanus to put himself in someone else's place, and she is openly uneasy about the Hunger Games in a household where that is not a popular view. She turned down the University to train as a designer instead.
