Silver parachute

Sponsor gifts reach a tribute inside the arena by parachute. A canister comes down under a small silver chute, and what is in it depends on what the mentor has managed to raise and what it costs at that point in the Games, since prices climb the longer a tribute stays alive. Food, medicine, a weapon, a blanket. The timing is often a message in its own right, since choosing what to send and when is one of the only ways anyone outside the arena can say anything to someone inside it.
