Silka Sharp is a District 1 tribute in the Quarter Quell, a girl far bigger than Maysilee Donner who answers Maysilee's jeer with a finger drawn across her throat.
She crosses the gym in a green ball gown with the rest of her district, and when Maysilee mocks the colour aloud, a Peacekeeper's baton stops her lunge. Louella notes the two girls already clashed in the locker room. At the parade, when the District 1 horses balk, she beats one with a stiletto heel until it bleeds, and the frightened team knocks her down.
