In the decades between she mentored scores of District 4 tributes, Finnick Odair among them, and she mentored District 12's tributes for the 50th Hunger Games alongside Wiress. Her method is to ask a tribute what they actually want out of the arena rather than assume she knows; her own goal, when she went in, had been to protect her district partner. She wears a wedding ring.
