Reaped out of District 6 for the 10th Hunger Games, Ginnee rides to the Capitol crammed into a dirty cattle car and is turned out with the other tributes into the monkey house at the zoo, where crowds gather at the bars to look in. She and Otto, the boy from her district, start up a dance in the enclosure, and their mentors, the twins Apollo and Diana Ring, get the watching crowd clapping along with it, which turns the whole afternoon into something closer to a party.
