Drusilla Sickle is the Capitol escort who has come to District 12 for its reapings since the first Quarter Quell, a plastic-faced woman whose skin is pinned taut by a ring of fancy tacks.
For the reaping of the second Quarter Quell she wears a lemon-yellow officer's jacket, thigh-high boots and a feathered hat, which makes Haymitch think of a deranged daffodil. She plucks two girls and then two boys from the glass balls, pausing for effect. When a rooftop Peacekeeper shoots the fleeing Woodbine Chance, she screams at the young man and her crew, orders the body cleared and demands another boy.
