A District 6 victor who came through her arena by hiding and by camouflage rather than by fighting.
Deirdre is a victor from District 6 who won her Games without ever picking up a weapon. She hid, painted herself into the background, and outlasted the rest of the field. What came afterward did not agree with her. Like several District 6 victors she was given morphling for what the arena left behind, and the addiction took hold: she is bone thin, with yellowed skin, prominent ribs, and eyes that look too large for her face. She still paints, and she is good at it.
