Clove is the girl tribute from District Two, a knife thrower who keeps a whole array of blades tucked into the lining of her jacket.
Peeta warns that she and Cato like to hunt at night, and Katniss counts her among the tributes who relied on the Careers' food store until its destruction. At the feast she hurls a blade that Katniss knocks aside with her bow, takes an arrow in the upper arm, and then pins Katniss flat under her knees, in no hurry, taunting her about Peeta.
