What tributes wear for the opening parade through the Capitol, built by their stylists around whatever their district produces.
On their first night in the Capitol the tributes ride through the city on chariots, wearing whatever their stylists have built out of the district's industry. District 1 gets jewels, District 7 gets trees, District 4 gets nets, and District 12, whose industry is coal, has historically been handed some version of a miner's outfit or, in the worse years, nothing but coal dust. The parade is the Capitol's first look at the year's field, and a costume that lands decides who gets talked about for the rest of the week.
