The Avenue of the Tributes is a major Capitol road, with the Training Center at one end and a large government building at the other. On the second of the days leading up to each Hunger Games, the tributes ride down it in chariots, in costumes drawn from their districts' industries, and the procession halts in front of that building for President Coriolanus Snow's welcome.
