Agrippina Sickle
Professor and gymnasium mistress at the Capitol's Academy during the 10th Hunger Games in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, a drillmaster decorated for her service in the Dark Days and aunt of Vipsania Sickle.
Agrippina Sickle is a professor at the Academy, the Capitol's elite school, where she serves as gymnasium mistress at the time of the 10th Hunger Games in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. A woman of formidable stature and muscular shoulders, she runs her gymnasium like a drill yard, insisting on rigorous exercise and marching Academy students in formation from the age of twelve. Her standing goes back to the war: at the end of the Dark Days she received an ornamental shield for overseeing the Academy's safety drills during the bombings, and on every reaping day since she has insisted on posing with it for a group photograph. Her student aide is Sejanus Plinth, and her niece Vipsania, an Academy senior, shares the Sickle family's love of competition.
