Bill Weasley, eldest of the Weasley brothers, is a former Head Boy and a Gringotts Curse-Breaker in Egypt.
Bill Weasley is spoken of in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone before he ever appears, the eldest Weasley brother and a former Head Boy whose record his younger siblings feel obliged to live up to. He works for Gringotts Wizarding Bank as a Curse-Breaker in Egypt, undoing the ancient protections on tombs, a job with considerably more adventure in it than the word banking suggests. When he finally appears in person in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he is nothing like the polished prefect Harry has imagined: long hair tied back in a ponytail, a fang for an earring, boots better suited to a rock concert than a bank, and an easy cool that makes an immediate impression on everyone at the table.
