The Weird Sisters are a wizarding band whose music plays constantly on the Wizarding Wireless Network, and they perform at the Yule Ball in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Despite the name, all eight known members are men. They take the stage in black robes artfully torn, every one of them extremely hairy, and their instruments run to drums, several guitars, a cello, a lute, a double bass and bagpipes. Their following is wide enough that the marriage of the bass player Donaghan Tremlett makes the front page of the Daily Prophet.
